My family moved to Denver from Minnesota when I was four, so I call myself a nearly-native. I grew up in University Park in a house built in 1905, which is probably why I still pay close attention to how a home is put together and what it costs to keep it standing.

Before real estate, I spent 35 years in information technology, most of it leading enterprise software teams. I earned a BS in Computer Science and an MBA from the University of Denver, and I taught at DU's Daniels College of Business as an adjunct professor. I've been licensed in Colorado since August 2020.

What carried over is the part of this job clients rarely see: process, data, and negotiation. I build the same kind of systems around a transaction that I used to build around a product launch. That's why my clients tend to know what happens next before they have to ask.

I hold six REALTOR® designations. Two of them are Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), for clients who are downsizing, and Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS), for the mountain side of the business. I'm also Historic Denver certified and hold an FAA Part 107 commercial drone license, so I fly the aerial photography on my listings myself.

Outside of work, I serve as VP of Communications for the Centennial Council of Neighborhoods. My wife Lisa and I raised three boys and now have two grandchildren. We enjoy walking our dogs and traveling, and I spend as much time as I can on my motorcycle exploring the mountains.
